The Instruments of Traditional Irish Music - History and mechanics of each one - Bring in instruments for participants to experiment - Listen to master samples
Wednesday
Day-long excursion—Gurteen after breakfast to Coleman Music Centre, audiovisual show, Shop, café—lunch in Gurteen
Guided tour on the way back—Ballinafad, Lough Arrow, Carolan Country, Ballyfarnon, Arigna, Keadue, Lough Allen
Thursday
Teach tune or song to group—depends on abilities and instruments, should have good idea After 3 days—learn something together—Amhrán na bhFiann? Frost is All Over?
Friday
Learn a tune and discuss the development of Irish music, listening to groups etc, CCE, Fleadhs,
Saturday
Summary of all information, farewell sing-song, small performance .
