Dear Teacher,
We invite you to consider coming to Lough Allen Education Centre for this year’s school tour. Here at the Lough Allen Education Centre, we have designed healthy and fun days out which are age-appropriate, imaginative, suitable for all levels of fitness and Lough Allen Education Centre is supervised by well trained and experienced staff.
It is open all-year round, and we work with teachers and schools to provide the very best educational experience for kids and teens. We run many programmes during the year, including day trips, residential breaks, transition year adventure breaks and summer camps. We pride ourselves on our care and attention to teachers and their classes. We are experienced with school groups, and provide all necessary insurance, child protection and duty of care.
All activities are designed to improve personal self confidence, develop team building skills, allow all children to test and taste outdoor sports in a very safe and fun way. Our excellent staff run all the activities, and our admin manager make booking, parental information, concent and organizational details easy and hassle-free. We understand that some teachers love to join in on the fun- and some don’t – and that is fine with us! The only supervision required is during lunch-time, so that our staff can grab a bite to eat! Otherwise, we take care of the groups from
arrival to departure.
We have suggested age-appropriate tours here- we also have many other activities we can offer. We provide all equipment and wetsuits, materials and facilities. Student-leader ratios are max 1:14, with 1: 8 for water activities. All staff are fully trained, and all staff are trained regularly in child protection and first aid.
